Resume Strategists Inc. was founded in 2004 by Alyssa Gelbard, a leading career consultant and brand strategist. The company is privately owned and is based in New York City, but serves clients globally.
With 14 years of strategic career consulting expertise, Alyssa is an accomplished speaker on developing strong resumes, effective interviewing/networking skills and job search action plans as well as navigating through career change. She is also an experienced facilitator of mock interview workshops. Alyssa is an alumni interviewer of prospective students for Tufts University Admissions and a mentor and speaker for the non-profit Dress for Success, where she provides career, job search, interviewing and resume guidance.
Alyssa has a multi-faceted strategic marketing, branding and communications background spanning large organizations and entrepreneurial entities. She has held senior positions in the for-profit and non-profit sectors, including consulting, higher education and sports marketing. Alyssa holds an MBA in Marketing from NYU Stern School of Business and a BA in Sociology from Tufts University.
